Truck is now on its 3rd IWE and 2nd wheel bearing...does not instill confidence...

Noise from front drivetrain can be modulated with selection of 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel automatic drive. Likely problem with Integrated Wheel Ends (well documented in online F150 forums)

While my truck was being repaired another one came in with the same problem. Had the same miles on it. I know of a 2015 F-150 with 45000 miles that has started making the grinding noise just like mine did.

4WD vacuum actuator on vehicle started leaking at 6,000 miles. Ford techs detected problem after I brought in for service reporting a grinding noise in front drivetrain. The noise went away when the 4WD was engaged. Covered under warranty but concerning that this would happen at only 6,000 miles.

Purchased the certified 2016 Ford F150 with 16.4K miles on 22Jul. During week of 14Aug, had truck in for 2 day repair for braking system issue (sensor issue causing warning lights to come on each time driven). Late last week began hearing grinding/scraping noise usually short while after driving at various speeds. Took it to same dealership who diagnosed it as a vacuum issue with the Integrated Wheel End. Stated that the same IWE was replaced prior to my purchasing the vehicle. Another two days (four total) without my (new to me) vehicle.
Researched online the IWE issue and found that it appears to be a design issue. Though it is covered by my warranty at this time and mileage, the issue could repeat. I have not even made my first loan payment. I want to return the truck and will, under the lemon law, if the issues continue.

We thought it was tires, but when we put new ones on it was still there.
