Problem started when the truck had less than 15,000 miles on it. I would turn the key to start, release the key and it would keep cranking on it's own until I manually stopped it. Had it in the shop several times and they couldn't get it to act up while in their care. I videoed the event, and showed it to the service manager. He said it would have to throw a code or they would have to experience the problem in person before they could do anything. I opened up a claim with Ford, left it at the shop again for about 2 weeks (out of warranty at this time) and they said they had no problems with it. Brought it home, and it acted up the same day.
They refused to start replacing the parts that could be causing the problem (fuel pump, pressure regulator, battery, key cylinder etc.) and you and I know good and well if we were paying cash to fix the problem, they would replacing parts like crazy. The warranty eventually expired, the problem continued and I lost confidence in the truck and Ford. My solution was to trade the truck in and spread the word, that I would not buy another truck from the Superior Ford Dealership in Siloam Springs Arkansas and that Ford doesn't stand behind their trucks!!!!
