problem #2

F-150 XL 5.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,622 miles

I purchased in 10/2016 - After 2 years I felt steering kinda pull / stick... thought it was strange and it did not happen for a long time after then again a few months 6-8 same thing...

Now almost 4 years later, I have had it it started making more noise and I can sit in park and hear steering issue just by turning wheel either way. I had a friend sit and turn while I looked under hood and It is coming from steering box...I think...

There's a round piece down below motor... attached to front axle...I am not driving until I have someone look at for me.

I have just over 50,000 on it and have not been driving much since COVID-19 but I am starting new job and need this running!!! I also cannot afford to fix - I do believe this should be a defect in Ford's design and should be repaired by FORD!!!!

F-150 LX 3.5L Cyclone V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25 miles

truck constantly pulls to the left, so I am constantly having to correct. The truck will change lanes without me having to turn the steering wheel. Been to the shop 3 times and all Ford has checked is the alignment. I brought to an independent Truck specialist Shop and after test driving the truck this is what they wrote: vehicle has obvious issue with front end component/suspension, possibly steering rack.

Ford says an outside evaluation means nothing to them. The last time they had truck for 10 days and then said sorry nothing we can do. have contacted Ford customer service and have been told nothing else they can do. there is uneven wear on the tires and other parts at this point. tried to get Ford to buy back since they can't seem to fix the problem, but no go. very frustrating.
