The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the rear windshield shattered without impact. The contact stated that broken glass fell onto the rear seat occupants. There were no reported injuries. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not inspected or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no additional assistance. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
