The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. While driving approximately 35 mph, the message "service power steering, hill start assist" appeared and the vehicle became difficult to steer. The vehicle was driven to Ford of mansfield (1515 w 4th street, mansfield, oh 44902) where it was diagnosed that rodents chewed through the electrical wiring. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 6,000. The VIN was unavailable.
