I’ve had rodents chewing on electrical wires. They chewed on 3 wire connectors and now I have my truck back in for the same issues.

F-150 XLT 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 27,000 miles

Have had several issues with Radio ( touch screen) not powering up. Noted other things in instrument cluster not functioning at the same time. Stop vehicle, turned off ignition, restarted and still nothing. Did this several times, nothing. Finally after20 minutes, power restored and things powered up. Has happened before, but usually powered back up as soon as I turned ignition on -off once.

Concerned that something really important may not power up when driving or shut down when driving

F-150 King Ranch V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 22,000 miles

First issue was Bluetooth would cut in and out, then radio would intermittently not respond to touch or manual controls. Next the rear cross traffic sensor default light went on, along with air bag sensor and tire pressure sensor failure. A/C would no longer respond to controls along with radio. Windows would not work and auto running boards would not deploy. I called dealer and was told they have NEVER seen this problem, which I find hard to believe as similar complaint is found on this site. Will take to dealer and see if they have a explanation or repair.

Update from May 6, 2019: Dealer says not covered under warranty
