This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
While coming to a stop, the engine shut off and a message displayed that the engine auto start/stop function was engaged. Put the vehicle in park, and re-start engine. Very dangerous to do this in moving traffic. This was with the auto start/stop feature already disengaged. I have read multiple reports of this in the site and several forums.

When accelerating, the engine stumbles like it is starving for fuel. Happens whether the engine is hot or cold. Only happens under light acceleration and is random. I hit the gas, the engine starts to respond, then stumbles. I release the gas and hit it again, same thing. I have traveled as much as 500 ft. before the engine responds. It acts like it is going to stall. It has happened since I bought it and has happened several times. No engine fault codes are produced. Dealer says they can't find anything and it doesn't act up when they have it. Getting very frustrated, as this is a dangerous situation.
Update from Mar 26, 2019: Problem is continuing and seems to be getting worse. Occurred 4 out of 5 days last week. One day, I drove nearly a half mile before the engine responded properly.

Engine stalling out at low speeds and when starting out. Engine doesn't stop but there must be some connection between the electrical and the transmission. After a few seconds the engine seems to want to act normal and then starts to go again.
I have had in to the Ford dealer and they put some valve on, but that didn't solve the problem. Now it is there again and if they can't solve the problem I will be driving "RAM".
I like the truck, but they have to solve this problem.

When accelerating, the engine bogs down like it cannot get fuel. Usually is seen under light acceleration but is very random has happened 6 times within 29,500 miles on new 2018 F-150. I have never seen engine fault codes when it has happened. This could be a dangerous situation.
