The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the fuel pump was previously replaced; however, the failure recurred while driving at an undisclosed speed, and the vehicle stalled with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 72,500.
