The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that on several occasions while stopped at a red light, the EcoBoost feature activated, and the vehicle lunged forward during acceleration. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 94,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, he smelled an abnormal odor. Additionally, the contact noticed an excessive amount of fluid underneath the vehicle. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V392000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) but the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 102,000.
