The contact stated that the failure only occurred during colder weather conditions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who confirmed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The contact was informed that the door latch had failed and needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle was currently being repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report a failure. The failure mileage was 57,000.

The contact stated that the lights inside the vehicle were flickering. The contact attempted to use the key pad on the door to unlock the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
