Passenger Side Cowl Seal Failure. The passenger side cowl seal fails. When this happens water can enter the vehicle and pour into the BCM (Body Control Module). Once water enters the BCM, it creates corrosion and will needs to be replaced along with the reprograming of all the keys. This is available upon request. My safety and the safety of others is put at risk because when water enters the BCM it causes the computer to short out. When this happens the horn will start beeping and the lights start flashing. This also sets off the vehicles security system. This happens when the vehicle is parked and turned off and when the vehicle is in motion. This puts people at risk because their security system will go off and will make owners think that their vehicle is being vandalized. While the vehicle is in motion the risk is that the horn is on and the lights are flashing making other motorists distracted and potentially causing accidents. The problem has been confirmed and reproduced by the dealer. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealer and an new seal needs to be installed. There were no warnings until the issue started creating a very scary driving experience in which the horn was on and the lights were flashing. the only way to make it stop was to disconnect the battery rendering the vehicle unfit for the road

I purchased this truck as a Ford blue certified vehicle with 6,800 miles. Driving home, I heard a loud rattle coming from the front passenger door area that was consistent on all road types. Upon further inspection, I found that the crash bar inside the front passenger door was not fastened. It requires a paint cutting acorn nut, and it is clear from the intact paint on all of the stud threads that it was never fastened at the factory. I do not know how this may have affected the function of the crash bar in the event of a side impact. I repaired it myself and did not take the vehicle to a dealer for inspection.

The drivers door handle was built in such a manner it leads to easy vehicle break ins. Criminals have determined it is very easy to beak door lock tumbler and open the door thru the vertical rod. This all occurs without setting off the security system of the vehicle.

I purchased my 2019 Ford F150 used in October of 2022 directly from my local Ford dealership. At the time of purchase the tailgate handle did not work properly. The tailgate handle would stick in the open/unlatched position. If you closed the tailgate with the handle in the open/unlatched position the tailgate would fall down. If the falling tailgate struck a child in the head, it could cause injury or death. I purchased a new tailgate handle. The torsion spring and hinge pins on the new handle are coated in grease. The spring and pins on the old tailgate handle are rusted. I still have the old tailgate handle and it is available for inspection.

Rear window exploded. No impact. Remote started my truck, cold out so rear defrost was on from the remote start. Go in truck shut the door and before I could press the start button (it was running from the remote start but still have to press the start button) the rear window exploded shattering everywhere except for the power slider. After some internet research, this appears to be a common problem with F-150's which Ford refuses to acknowledge.

The touch sensitive door control for the side passenger door intermittently operates. This creates a hazardous situation when trying to enter the vehicle when parked on the street and the vehicle remains locked. An owner has to retreat, find the key fob and unlock the door remotely. The touch system is erratic and does not give any warning when it malfunctions. Same issue with trying to lock the door but not as hazardous since one is moving away from the vehicle.

I have a 2019 F-150 that has what they call rail dust or brake dust (rust flakes) showing through on my ingot silver paint. My tailgate is the worst. I have rust flakes appearing in various places throughout my truck body panels. Even the rear bed inner body panels are showing the rust flake spots. Aluminum body panels should not show rust material. This rail dust or brake dust should not be adhering to the clearcoat paint on my truck. I have done some research and Ford has had problems with this all the way back to 2004. Ford has put out some tsb's about the problem but will not admit to their problem with rust flakes appearing in their paint. This rust flakes needs recalled immediately that is appearing in the paint jobs. Numerous people are complaining through various search forums I have seen. I am not accepting this rail dust because when you pay upwards of $35,000 for a truck and can't get 2 years out of a flawed paint job Ford won't recall someone needs to force Ford into action. I have contacted my dealer about this but will probably be told nothing can be done. They already told me after my 3 year/3600 miles nothing can be done, this is unfair. Make Ford fix this [xxx] problem with the rust flakes in their paint jobs. No other manufacturer has this problem. Last time I buy a Ford. Ford should be held liable for their metal particles that appeared on the aluminum body panels before they were painted. We the consumer should not be the one paying the price for their mistakes. This so called rail dust that is appearing on the F -150's paint is not fake. Look at my photos. Have some one come take pictures of my truck for proof. What will the truck look like in 2 more years a rust bucket. I am not paying to have this fixed. Ford has a problem and needs to recall the bad paint jobs or buy back my truck. Please help me with this problem. Make Ford recall this. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

The evaporator cord went bad before I even owned my brand new truck for a year causing water to leak under the passenger dash and under the carpet which caused a significant amount of mold to grow through the cab. This is not yet a recall, but Ford knew that this was as issue in these trucks and still sold it to us. There are at least 3 in for the same issue at our local dealership.

Truck was approximately one year old with 13,500 miles and when I would start the truck, with the A/C on, you would get a strong smell of vinegar coming from the vents. The smell would go away after a couple seconds. While cleaning the truck I realized the front passenger side floor mat was wet as well. Brought the truck to the dealership multiple times. They originally worked on the A/C and after several visits they had to change the carpet of the truck due to the dampness. Same issues continued and I was told they found a leaky door seal, which would explain the dampness on the floor, but not the smell from the vents. Dealership returned the car, with the intake not put together correctly (pictures attached), and 48 hours later the floor was wet again and the smell was still there when starting the truck. Issues have not been resolved at this time time.
