The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the rear-view camera unintendedly activated, causing the display to become inoperable. The contact also stated that the rear-view camera occasionally failed to work properly, increasing the risk of a crash. The contact stated that the crash prevention system alerted the contact of an imminent crash however, there were no vehicles nearby. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the local dealer. The contact related the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V575000 (Visibility, Back Over Prevention); however, neither the VIN nor the vehicle was not included. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 65-70 MPH in a rainstorm, the windshield wipers failed and remained positioned in the middle of the windshield. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact drove to the local Pep Boys and purchased a water repellant that she used on the windshield. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the earliest available appointment was July 19. The contact stated upon taking the vehicle to the dealer for repair, the dealer informed the contact that the vehicle could no longer be repaired under warranty due to the mileage. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V250000 (Visibility). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.
