The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon attempting to enter the vehicle using the remote key fob, the driver's side door failed to unlatch. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the door actuator. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 30,000.
