The windshield wiper did not shut off anymore Ever 20 seconds it went back and forth once. After searching the internet I found 100s of links related to the same issue with Ford vehicles and the Multifunction switch mounted on the steering wheel. I consider this a safety issue because people try to fix the wiping issue while driving. Also being on the road it could cause damage to the windshield wiping in a dry environment. Dust and debris can scratch the screen over time and inhibit a clear vision while driving. Looking at several videos it seams that the multifunction switch contacts are prone to corrosion inside the driver cabinet of the vehicle. Going from Hot in the sun 130 degree F + to 65 Degree F. The switch connection and contacts are not sealed and open to condensation, creating a corrosive environment.

purchased 2020 Ford F-150 XL. Ford, New condition, Ford held the truck back for a wiper arm recall. The repairs were made and we drove it home noticing the wipers were not parking down off the line of sight. After removing the arm to proceed to adjust to the spline I found keyways had been installed so these arms are fixed, ( Nonadjustable). This fix is not acceptable. these arms are in the way. The recall was not satisfied. Danger!

Drivers Side Wiper Blade Arm has detached and flew off during use in a rainstorm. I was able to retrieve the wiper blade arm from the road. There is nothing holding it tight on the round silver cylinder it seats on to. I am able to lift the arm straight off the round cylinder it should be locking to. This is not safe and will happen again. I have seen other year F150 recalled for this issue. Is my 2020 F150 going to be included.

While driving home on Monday, January 23, 2023 I attempted to use my wipers to clean my windshield and the driver-??s side windshield wiper flew off to the side of the windshield and wouldn-??t go back down. The wiper fluid that was on the windshield obstructed my view for a few moments. A few minutes later when I arrived home, a friend of mine helped me put it back in place and noted the little silver -??key-?? wasn-??t fitting properly. I had received a recall notice last year but was never notified that any parts were available or when to bring my vehicle in. If this incident had occurred during a storm it could have been extremely dangerous.

Wiper recall however these totally quit working. Ford wont give a vehicle to drive. Vehicle is in my name and for son who reside in Colorado stationed at FE Warren Base in military. They said sorry we cant do anything at all Fords called even main ford line. He can't see out of windshield with current weather conditions. He will be AWOL if I don't go to base or field when this is his only transportation which is half his military income a month. Only way they said they would help was for him to pay $60 a day for rental and they will reimburse when truck gets fixed which parts won't be available for weeks or months. How does a military 21 year old afford $60 a day. I guess if he get killed they won't care either.

On April 21, 2021, at 09:10 I parked my 2020 F150 XLT sport in my work parking lot. The truck was locked and unoccupied. At 16:10, I approached the vehicle from the front on the driver side. As I neared the back door to place my items inside, I noticed glass shards on the edge of the truck bed. I proceeded to unlock and open the rear door and noticed an approx. 8 inch by 2 inch gash on the right rear sedentary window, the entire stationary rear glass was "spider shattered". the glass shards were in the bed of the truck and along the rim of the bed edges. I inspected the vehicle for other damage. The vehicle was not in use, not occupied and no objects to cause damage. Also note, the outside temperature did not exceed 66F

Ford cameras recall: 20C19 and 20B39. I received notification of the recall during normal maintenance on March 1, 2021, not via Ford headquarters. Apparently, the recall was on 09/23/20. Two different Ford dealerships (in palm desert area) have said one of the cameras is on backorder with no clear indication when it would be received for installation. Therefore, from the date of the recall until now (approximately 6-months), I have not received the corrected parts or installation.

This vehicle, which is otherwise required to have one, was delivered for lease with an inoperative backup camera on August 24, 2020. The camera is on back order from the manufacturer. Truck is brand new, odometer reads 310 miles. Windshield wiper motor broke first time I was trying to drive in the rain. Motor needs to be replaced. Vehicle was in motion, visibility was extremely limited. This was super dangerous due to driving curvy country back roads.
