The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and going uphill, the parking brake engaged inadvertently, causing the contact to sustain injuries to the chest, shoulder, and face. The contact stated that during the failure, the seat belt failed to function as designed and the contact struck the windshield. The contact received medical attention at the emergency room. A Police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer.
