Ford F150, 2020...was making knockling sounds and took it in for a checkup. No oil. I just had an oil change. After 1 visit a month for over a year, the dealer and Ford, finally agreed to replace the engine. I have now been waiting over 6 months with no response from anyone. Ford has my case, they periodically will call and say there is "no update".
This vehicle has under 60K miles...my first Ford and MY LAST. Over a year and a half and it is not even close to being resolved.

Engine sounds like a diesel truck and it's a 5.0 gas vehicle. Knocks while in idle and sounds like sh*t driving also.
Told the dealership to fix the issue and I've been on a waiting list to bring the vehicle in for a few months now. I purchased it used, I'm assuming it was a, leased vehicle. With like 20,000 miles on it for like $60,000
Don't they even inspect the vehicle's issues before selling it to me?
I can't believe that I have to wait so long to get the vehicle repaired.
"Built Ford Tough" Is false advertising.
Fix this thing. I spent my hard-earned money on this so I can have a reliable vehicle for work.

I traded in a 2010 XLT with 235K miles for this new $35,000 vehicle. The 2010 pickup never had a single issue. I have now had this vehicle in the shop twice with less than 7K miles. Not sure the 2.7 ecoboost is a good engine.

This is the entire process needed to either rebuild or replace the vehicle's engine. This is a process needed when the vehicle's engine is in need of serious repair.
