Rear window cracked along entire length, and shattered. Heated defrost for rear window was activated prior to parking vehicle. Shattered window noticed two hour later when returning to vehicle. Police report filed 3/5/23.

Rear middle sliding window shattered/blew out while driving less than 15 mph and braking at a stop light. No injuries as thankful my child was not in the car seat or with me at the time. Sounded like a gun shot.

I remote started my truck via the Ford pass app. The day was 26?. Upon walking out to my vehicle there was a loud bang and my rear glass was broken. My vehicle was backed in to the parking spot. Against a building with no way of anything hitting it from behind.

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rear window frame detached from the glass causing the glass to fracture. The vehicle was taken to an unknown glass repair facility however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,400.
