Our 2022 Ford F-150 lost power while trying to proceed into an intersection. I was turning right, exiting a parking lot onto a main road trying to go north. There was a good amount of time with no traffic so I pushed the gas to proceed with my right turn. When I pushed the gas, the truck responded bringing me out into the intersection however before I could get turned the gas pedal stopped responding so I was stuck straight out on the main road with traffic that was heading north coming straight toward my driver side of my truck. I almost got T-boned by multiple vehicles. Traffic slowed and had to stop to move around my truck while I was attempting to get the truck to respond. The truck responded after about 2 minutes of being stalled. We brought the truck into our local ford dealership again (had brought it in before for this same issue described below), they kept it for about a week to try to reproduce the issue again however were not successful again. The dealer said that the truck did not throw any codes when the stall happened and there were no warning lights or messages in the vehicle at the moment that it happened to me. They are now telling us that we need to pick up our truck which we truly do not feel safe in. This is a family vehicle and our daily driver that we drive around our 3 year old child in. It not only put my life in danger that day by stalling, but it put all of the others cars headed toward me - almost T-boning me - in danger. I had a previous instance of this same issue where my truck was non-responsive, but was not on a main road so it wasn't as scary. There were also multiple other times where it experienced the same issue, but did not fully lose power (just kind of lagged when the pedal was pushed). We brought my truck into a local ford dealership for these instances of the issue but they could not reproduce the issue, therefore did not fix it. There was a recall issued for this a couple months back, however currently no fix.

We were told, our truck had a loss of fuel pressure and flow from the fuel tank due to fuel pump failure. This can cause a lack of fuel delivery to the engine and result in an engine stall while driving. That-??s what happened to us. Prior to fuel pump failure, we experienced poor engine performance (misfiring or running rough), a check engine light, and a reduction in engine power. The engine stalled while driving on the highway and increased the risk of a crash being stuck on the side of the road up a hill like we were. I was reaching out to see if we are able to get a refund.

My truck is/has been experiencing engine power issues on occasions when its hot. There are no engine light warnings. I believe issues is the fuel pump and there is a recall about this exact issue. I spoke to dealership and they said they have no remedy. I chatted with a Ford company customer service associate and he would not help either despite this is a major safety issue. We are afraid to drive the vehicle and no one at Ford will help us.

Received recall notice for vehicle listed above. Contacted the local Ford dealer and talked to the service writer. They stated as the recall notice outlined that currently Ford does not have remedy for the situation. In the recall notice it outlines one of the issues could be the vehicle to stall particularly in hot weather conditions.. I live on the Gulf Coast (hot humid conditions) and commute 2x daily across elevated bridges that are notorious for accidents from stalled vehicles on the bridge. This is due to a faulty fuel pump system. My concern is that if I stall out on this bridge the results could be tragic for not only me but for other people using the bridge. To me this situation should be remedied in a "NOW" timeline to prevent the loss of life and equipment. The service writer agreed with me but didn't have a solution. Why doesn't Ford just install a new fuel pump that doesn't have this particular problem. In my opinion if they can't do that they should replace my current vehicle with a new of the same make and model. My life and that of others in this situation is more important than Ford's bottom line. Once the engine is warm at normal running temperature and especially when it-??s hot outside, the engine will shudder and almost die. This issue is most noticeable at idle at stop signs or stop lights and the whole truck shakes.

2022 F-150 VIN: [XXX] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Issue Since 07-11-2025 Low pressure fuel pump failure Recall Action Soon Issue Since 05-16-2025 Rear camera screen software update -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Issue Date 2025-06-13 Campaign 25S65/25V404 Description On your vehicle, in the event of unexpected 12V battery discharge, the front door electronic latches retain their last lockunlock status. If the driver or front passenger exit the front doors using the mechanical inside release handles, the doors may remain locked when they are closed. This may result in an unexpected lock-out condition for the driver and front passenger without the ability to immediately re-enter the vehicle. Safety Risk An occupant who remains inside a locked vehicle and unable to use an inside door release handle may be unable to be rapidly retrieved by a passenger who has exited the vehicle. This could increase the risk of injury in emergencies or hot weather. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Vehicle stalls out every 3-5 minutes after starting. Vehicle stops and will restart after start up but will only once again run for 3-5 minutes. Vehicle is a hazard on the road as well to the passengers. Local Ford Dealership and Ford Corp. both admit there is a recall (25S75) on my 2022 F-150 but are unaware of how to repair the vehicle. I am to wait until Ford develops a solution. Unwilling to provide a loaner vehicle while Ford comes up with a solution. They told me 3-6 months.

I bought a used Ford f-150 from Toyota used care dealership on [XXX]. On [XXX] while vehicle was being driven on [XXX], north of Santa Clarita, on the way down to San Diego. I was in the backseat, my friend who was the driver notified me. That we had to pull over and check because he was noticing smoke, then we pulled over and the truck was leaking a fluid that was on fire for about 20 minutes. We had exited the vehicle, called 911, the fire then stopped after about 20 minutes. The fire department came and then put out a small fire within the truck. We then had to wait on the side of the rode for 5 hours waiting for a tow truck to pull the truck. I got the truck towed to a ford service center because the truck still had new vehicle manufacturer warranty with Ford. The truck was given full warranty and Ford covered the damages and fixed the vehicle giving it the green light in there service report. I then waited until March 4th 2025 to receive my truck back. On [XXX], the truck was being driven down southband the [XXX], on the [XXX], again due to smoke and also hearing a loud banging, my friends had to pull over and the truck is going to be towed to the service center which it was first fixed. The computer/s that control every piece of equipment does not function as designed! The cruise control adjusted the speed (upward) without touching the controls. The lane keeping function will drag the truck into a turnout lane, left or right especially on a two lane highway with turn out lanes. The windshield wiper control has to be constantly manipulated to keep the windshield clean during snow and or rain storms. The instrument panel constantly changes which distracts the driver as so does the computer screen. The pre collision equipment works only sometimes. All the computers installed affect the function of other computers which causes driver distraction, like txt and driving.

Fuel odor when exiting the truck. Looked under the truck to investigate the gas odor and found a weeping gas line connection between the gas tank and transmission. Took the truck to Gary Yeoman Ford in Ocala, FL and they estimated it would cost $1385 to do the repair, however, they did not give us a copy of the estimate. Called them back today, 11/29 to set up an appointment for the repair and they will call us back to drop off the truck as it may take a couple of days to get the part.
