The radio will make a loud popping static noise that is louder than a gun shot. Damaging to my ears and children.

Speakers (B&O) - I turned on the vehicle from a cold start and I began to hear what I thought was rats invading the rear interior of the vehicle, I heard a loud crunching noise. I turned the stereo down and it was not as pronounced. I began to drive and the sound continued loud cracking and soft at times coming from the front and rear speakers. It was annoying and very loud popping at times. It did not stop when I turned the radio down but it did stop when I got to my destination 10 minutes later. The issue has not reoccurred since but I feel like the rear speakers are not as loud as they once were. I did. It feel my safety was in jeopardy but the sounds was annoyingly loud. No warning lights came on and the Ford app stated there were no problems. I have not yet brought the vehicle I got the dealer. I will be scheduling in the coming days.

Upon starting my pickup after work a loud static sounding noise was heard coming from the speakers in the rear doors and in the A pillars of the vehicle. I was unable to get the noise to stop even if the radio was turned off. I had no control of the volume coming out of the speakers and it seemed that it was as loud as they could go. The noise was not always constant, sometimes quieting down for 10 to 15 seconds at a time. However, I have a half hour drive to get home and this sound was continuous for the entire drive. The noise was loud enough that I feel hearing protection would be required to operate the vehicle. I drove the vehicle to the dealership where I had purchased it and made an appointment to have the issue resolved.

Randomly and suddenly while driving on OH State Route 98, my vehicle started a ROARING audio expulsion that could NOT be stopped. It was coming from EVERY speaker and at MAXIMUM volume and lasted for about 45 minute. I tried audio controls, I pulled over on the side of the road and shut down my vehicle. I opened my door to "complete" the computer shut off. I tried randomly pulling fuses to no avail. I did NOT have tools to remove the battery connection. It produced such power that a distinct odor of electrical fire was present. I did NOT witness flame, but I was very worried it was soon to happen. I drove to dealer. All controls SEEMED to work normally. The audio was dangerously loud and we recorded a video / audio.

Max tow package 3/4 floating rear passenger side axle retention bolt twisted until snapped off. Only thing keeping the rear wheel/axle setup on the truck was the brake caliper.... Ford tech said they have so many in for this issue they don't have the parts in stock anymore. There was a recall issued for some 2021 models but this continues to effect 2022s and 2023s.

When in my vehicle, there is a very loud POP and STATIC that is sufficiently loud that it is startling and dangerous. I've experienced this issue 3 times now. I contacted Ford, and their support team just pointed me to my dealer. This issue will eventually cause someone to crash, lose hearing, cause a seizure, etc.. Very dangerous. After experiencing the issue, I began doing online searches and find that this issue has been reported across multiple platforms including news and forums. It appears that the issue exists with the B&O sound system. My dealer claimed they weren't sure what the problem was, but that they could take a look and try to figure it out. I think this is a serious enough issue that the Ford and the dealers should prioritize the repair as this is far more serious than an errant windshield wiper (one of the recalls).

While driving, parked or switching to reverse the stereo will emit a very loud noise. Best described as an electronic explosion that lingers. It doesn't just go BOOM it goes BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM and lasts up to 70 seconds so far. It has even happened when turning the truck off and it persists after everything is off. Ford dealer says "everything is fine" this is a video of it doing it. The vehicle has fallen out of neutral tow mode while being towed behind motor home twice. First time happened April 10, 2022 and the second was August 23, 2023. The first time it ruined the transfer case and transmission, a dealer in Georgia replaced those and all 4 tires. The second time we were able to stop with only tire damage. Both times we were driving on the highway. Both times the neutral tow mode was set through the dash board of the F150. There were no warning lights only smoke from the truck and motorhome slowing down due to F150 not rolling. Neither incident involved police, we were able to pull off to side out of traffic.

The loud sound of shattered glass and of glass cracking played over the sound system. This is the second time it has happened to us. Turning off the F150 and opening the door did not help it stop. Component: Stereo + Speakers I was put at risk because of the extremely loud sound coming from the speakers that I could not control. I was unable to hear traffic around me or concentrate on driving. It startled me so much I almost swerved into traffic. It was inspected by the manufacturer and they performed a reprogramming of the (audio controller?). There were no other warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the problem. It first appeared after owning the vehicle for 6 months. Details of incidents: I have had this happen 6 times: Turn on vehicle. Explosive POP comes from the speakers followed by no sound. Volume controls are unresponsive. No audio plays. After 15-20 seconds, the audio returns and volume controls are responsive again. I have had this happen 2 times: Turn on vehicle. Explosive POP comes from the speakers followed by continual max volume static. Volume controls are unresponsive. Restarting the vehicle does not fix the problem. Static continues for up to 40 minutes. Once vehicle was turned off for more than a few minutes, the problem stopped and audio returned to normal.

Noticed when the vehicle was already in motion and accelerating to get up to the street speed the truck all of a sudden starts shaking in the back. The shaking was not only in the back but in the front also. I called Ford and they stated there was nothing wrong with it. If that-??s the case the explain why the back end and front end of the truck started shaking.

Door latches are inoperable from the inside after slamming the door. Three out of four doors have become inoperable from the inside since new. The problem is repairable however I fear that upon a front impact doors will become inoperable and create confined space entrapment. Incidents were 11/1/2022 (rear passenger), 4/12/2023 (driver's), and 6/15/2023 (rear driver's).

Several times the infotainment system specifically the camera system fails to operate. When backing up the camera system is unavailable, the screen just shows the Ford emblem. This condition has happened several times and takes 3-4 minutes to correct or the vehicle must be shut off and restarted to get the system to work. Backing a vehicle of this size without the camera is somewhat difficult. I mentioned it to the dealer, they said Ford is aware of the issue but can't tell me when or if it is going to be corrected. I also took the truck in for an update and told them of an incident that occurred when I got into the truck after it had been sitting for 4-5 hours. When I started the truck an incredibly loud alarm coming from the sound system went off. I sounded like all of the speakers blew but after they checked they hadn't. It's only done that once and the dealer told me my incident was the only one they've heard of. I have not had an accident due to this issue. There have not been any warning lights.

My radio/stereo/speakers introduced an extremely loud "pop" noise, or "banging" noise. It was reminiscent to my time overseas in the military and gunfire. It was extremely startling and hurtful to all three passengers in my vehicle, including myself, my spouse, and my 2-year-old child. This is a recurring issue as of now, and many others are complaining about the same issue happening to them.

while driving, with the audio system off, suddenly I heard a loud explosion. next I heard what sounded like class breaking. I thought i was involved in an accident and slammed on my brakes. Realizing I was ok, the next thought that came to mind was that someone shot at me. The crackling sounds ( like glass breaking did not stop). i drive directly to a ford dealership. they heard and acknowledged the cracking sound. i turned off the truck and the sound CONTINUED.

I was driving down the highway and a loud pop followed by a very high pitched static noise came out of my speakers. I had to unhook a battery terminal to get it to stop. This is the 3rd time this has happened and the dealership won-??t do anything as it-??s extremely difficult to replicate.
