The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at speeds between 65 - 80 MPH with the cruise control activated, the cruise control malfunctioned, and the vehicle decelerated to 10 - 20 MPH slower than the cruise control was set for. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to diagnose the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 29,700.
