The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and a case was filed. The failure persisted and the vehicle jerked and hesitated without warning. The contact pulled off on the next exit and immediately contacted the dealer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed with damages to 4 of the 6 cylinders. The dealer submitted a buyback request to the manufacturer which was later denied. The contact was later informed by the dealer that the cylinders were replaced; however, the contact refused to take possession of the vehicle due to safety concerns. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was provided a case number. The vehicle remained with the dealer. The failure mileage was 269.
