Front panel of the sunroof randomly shattered after closing the door to enter. The truck was in park. Ford says it must-??ve been a rock or damage to it since glass doesn-??t randomly shatter but there wasn-??t any. Truck is less than a year old and 10,000 miles. Truck is currently at the dealership while I figure out options/warranties. Dealer initially said warranty only covers defects, not glass. Coincidentally, there was a recall notice for area near sunroof but Ford/Dealer say it has no correlation.

The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated while operating the vehicle, water from the windshield wiper reservoir had leaked into the engine compartment and onto the engine and electrical components inside the engine compartment. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 20.
