Problem with powered tailgate occurred after hauling long box with tailgate down. When tailgate bounced up, it would beep and lower itself down...fine. But on next run, symbol of tailgate open showed on instrument panel. Opened tailgate, powered down, but would not reclose by tailgate button or by doing the partial lift. Manually closed and re-opened, then tailgate would power itself closed again and symbol did not show on instrument panel again.
