F-150 Lightning

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the fuel tank detached from underneath the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer. The failure was diagnosed that the fuel tank was not properly bolted to the subframe of the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was aware of the failure and informed the dealer through Service Bulletin: 22S42. The approximate failure mileage was 700.
