F-150 Lightning

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 30-36 MPH, the vehicle had stopped in the middle of the roadway. The contact depressed the brake pedal, but the brake pedal went down to the floorboard, and the vehicle failed to respond. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact swerved off the road and ended up in a ditch. The contact turned off the vehicle however, the vehicle failed to restart while pressing the PUSH to START button while depressing the brake pedal due to the brake failure. The vehicle was towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist without a diagnostic test report from the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 10,020.
