When coming to a stop, say a stop light or stop sign, after a few seconds at a complete stop, the vehicle lurches violently forward. First time it happened, I thought I was rear ended, but no one was behind me. According tho hundreds of posts on www.f150gen14.com, it seems to be a known issue with the Auxiliary Transmission Oil pump, but dealerships are not acknowledging the issue or claiming it's a non-warranty issue. Regardless of that, the safety concern is the vehicle lurching into traffic, pedestrian, car in front, etc.

Brand new truck with less than 500 miles on the odometer and now having issues with the auxiliary transmission pump which is responsible for switching between the hybrid system (engine to battery and vice versa). The issue with this is that is also makes the vehicle lurch forward as if it was rear ended, with the potential to hit something in front as a result. I left the vehicle with the dealer on Tuesday (7/25) and was just told on Thursday (7/27) that it would take a month before the vehicle can see their transmission department and that it would need to stay with them for the entire duration. I am now out of a vehicle I've owned for 2 weeks for the next month, and realistically even more time as once diagnosis occurs then more waiting is needed for parts/repair.

Vehicle malfunctions at start-up. Will not turn on and displays "stop safely now" message. Has also thrown codes for low battery voltage that simply disappear. Vehicle malfunction at start-up does not throw code.

While sitting at a traffic light, the gear shift switched to park from drive with my family inside the vehicle. The vehicle would not move and the gear shift continued to switch back to park when I attempted to get out of the roadway, leaving me and my family in a dangerous spot. I have video of the gear shift moving to park.

Entered vehicle and started my truck, and Immediately after a stop safely now along with full accessory power flash continuously. Along with the warnings I was unable to move my shifter as it was stuck on park the whole time. I turned off and restarted the vehicle 8-10 times over the course of 10-15 minutes which in the last try the messages went away and was finally able to put into drive and drive to work. I researched this issue and see a ton of other owners are having similar issues from this model.

My F150 was purchased new and I have had it about 3 weeks. It has 1400 miles on it. Sunday afternoon April 30 2023 I could not start my f 150. There was a warning STOP SAFELY NOW and the car would not activate the engine, or disengage the parking brake. I turned everything off and waited a few minutes then tried to activate my f150 again. Again the car was bricked. The next morning May 1 at 8 am the car functioned and normally. I contacted a Ford dealer and was advised to make a service appointment. I did and took the F 150 in for service May 2 2023. It is now at a dealership for diagnostics. Had I been at 70 mph on teh interstate with a warning like STOP SAFELY NOW and then been stranded that could have been very hazardous.

Took delivery of a new 2023 Ford F-150 on 2/18/2023. Upon inspection once at home I discovered excessive Rust/Oxidation in the underbody area. Specifically, there was excessive rust and oxidation in the following areas: Rear Differential, Rear Axle Casings, Rear Axle Hubs, and portions of the front Frame Rails. This amount of rust/oxidation should not exist in a new vehicle and has the potential to lead to a driving performance/braking incident/accident that could damage the truck and or injure vehicle passengers. Research indicates Ford Motor Company has known about these issues for a couple of years. Furthermore, after contacting Ford, I received a boilerplate email stating that they would look into this problem without indicating whether or not they would issue a Recall or CSP (Customer Service Program) to remediate this problem. This is without question a safety issue and should be investigated by NHTSA. Pictures of the affected areas and a copy of the email from Ford area attached to this filing.
