Engine compartment fire on a parked 1995 Ford F-250. The fire spread rapidly throughout the engine compartment, and caused a car parked next to the truck to catch fire. The vehicle is totaled. The fire investigator for mount prospect, il, indicated that it was likely an internal electrical fault.

The contact then observed flames shooting from the driver's side of the engine compartment. The engine was destroyed and the left side of the engine, including the metal, had melted.
