I have a 1995 Ford F-250 4X4 truck. The steering shaft coming out of the steering box has broken in half twice. Once on 12/24/01 and once again on 2/02. In both cases, I lost complete control of steering. Ford tells me that there is no recall and I am the only case that they know of in which this has happened (let alone twice). Yet I have an aquantence for whom this has also happened.
