Rust broke out on both sides exact same spot above the rear wheels. Brought to Ford dealer and I was told this is a "known issue" and too bad, your not under warranty anymore. This year I was denied a safety inspection sticker because of the rust location on body. I ordered this truck custom and always garaged it. Seems crazy, less than 10 years I cannot pass a safety inspection due to a "known issue' Ford will not correct.

Passenger side rear quarter had bubbling over wheel. went to dealer, said warranty over ( a few months), called Ford said sorry nothing they could do. called twice more to no avail. had an 89 Bronco that rusted and they fixed it (even out of warranty)!!!! never buy another one !!!! other than the rust its a great truck !! no problems , just very ugly and annoying rust..truck doesnt have a scratch. total shame....rust is now on both quarters over wheels and bottoms of doors....no need for this..Ford should be ashamed of this..Ford tough my ass...................Thanks Ford for nothing i look around and dont see any GMs rusted like this......

Oil pan rusted thru, rear fenders rusted out, both gas tank straps rusted thru. If they won't fix or pay back having it fixed will never by a Ford again and have always had Fords and I'm a stock owner.
