F-250

  • 147,000 miles
The contact owns a 2005 Ford F-250. The contact heard a rattling sound underneath the vehicle while driving. The contact looked underneath the vehicle and noticed that the brackets to the vehicle were rusted and partially detached. The contact noticed that the frame underneath the vehicle, which attached the bed to the frame and the motor to the engine, was rusting. The contact noticed that the brackets were beginning to severely rust and slightly detach. When the vehicle was parked, the contact would sometimes notice pieces of the frame on the ground. The contact took the vehicle to the hender Ford and ramsey's Ford dealers where both places confirmed the rust failure to be an issue. The vehicle did not receive official diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 147,000.
