2005 Ford F-250. Consumer states engine failure the consumer stated the engine failure nearly caused an accident, when it shut down on a major highway. Subsequently, the consumer also experienced a failure with the fuel injection control module. After having the fuel injection control module replaced, the check engine light illuminated after leaving the dealership. The check engine light illuminated due to a failed egr valve. The consumer was also informed the alternator was spiking, and needed to be replaced as well as the egr cooler and head gaskets.

2005 Ford F250 truck that shut down while driving at highway speed * the consumer stated that on two separate occasions the truck has shut down while driving at highway speeds losing power steering and brakes. The consumer stated there was no indication that the truck was losing power. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and the dealer stated there were no indicators while performing test on the truck.
