I well have several complaints here on my truck, unfortunately I do not have all of my documentation in front of me, plus I know there are issues that I have had that wont be on here, but when you go outside when its cool, remember I live in Ca. and it would stutter rough idle, let me put it this way, everything you read on the internet about this truck is TRUE
I will be putting up another complaint about the same problem, my dates are off, I do not have the paper with me, I wish I knew about this site before
Also Ford company will not work with you, they well just tell you it's your dealer's problem.
I do want to state, my truck has been only serviced by ford, and never late for any service !!!!!
I even had mt oil changed before the recommended.

My truck is slow to start. very sluggish in first mile.runs about 20 mph. My husband, brother and brother in law are all in the diesel industry. They knew that Ford had made some mistakes on the 2006 engine. When this King Ranch was ordered with a full back seat and not picked up I was in love and the dealership gave me the deal I couldn't pass up. With warnings I bought the big, beautiful truck. True to their prediction I began having injector problems in 2010. I have had them cleaned and several other things done but the mechanic has said at least two of them need replacing. My friends have 02 and 03 F250's and have never had an injector problem. I'm going to have to pay out $3000 to keep my truck? Looks like when Ford realized they had made a mistake they would have fixed it then. I don't want to trade. I can't afford another King Ranch. I've taken good care of this one and it should have lasted longer than this!!!!

Mechanic probably miss diagnosed this. My testing indicated the FICM was within spec. The mechanic replaced the FICM based on FICM trouble code and injector trouble codes.
They charged me $953 and said it was fixed. No it was not. I returned a few days later for a fuel pump problem.
