The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the undercarriage of the vehicle bed was rusted and parts were missing. The contact stated that the bed of the vehicle could unexpectedly detach because it was loose and parts of the metal were rubbing off. The contact also mentioned that the bed was pushing down into the frame. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 75,000.
