The contact owns a 2007 Ford F250. While driving 20 mph, the contact heard a loud howling sound. The dealer stated that the front driver side wheel bearing was rusted. The wheel bearing was replaced four times, but the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the failure was caused by contamination from road debris or water. There was a tsb that stated that the brake shield needed to be replaced in order to correct the failure. The manufacturer did not make the repair. The failure mileage was 40,000 and current mileage was 148,083. Updated 02-14-08 updated 02/14/08
