Driving at approx. 50 MPH veering left on ramp to SR-51 from 101, hit expansion joint and truck immediately began to shimmy so hard I could hardly hold onto the steering wheel. I thought I was going to hit the concrete divider on the left.
There was a red truck tail-gating me. My immediate reaction was to hit the brakes but like driving on ice that made it worse. Fortunately I seldom lose my cool and spent my twenties driving on ice and snow. I had to let the truck slow down on its own but was able to feather the brakes a little to help. If I had slammed the brakes on I doubt that I would be here right now. Red truck still trying to drive into the bed of my Ford he was so close. At 30 MPH truck stopped shaking.
I immediately drove to the Ford dealership no faster than 30 as truck would start to shake again. I had my sister and daughter in the truck with me. At the dealership I got out and told them I would not drive the truck again until they fixed it. All 3 of us were very shaken as it could have resulted in a very serious accident. Traffic in Phoenix is crazy and the red truck driver behind me on the ramp flipped the bird at me when I slowed to 30 MPH. The Ford F-250 had less than 20,000 miles at that time.
Bell Ford replaced the bushing bar that stabilizes the front end and this has not occurred again...yet. The mechanic wrote on the service sheet "death ride" after he took it out for a test before the repair.

Dealer had no clue as to how to fix issue. I had tires changed and still had wobble. On a whim I had rims changed. Issue fixed.
