truck won't pull camper over 45 mph
I bought the truck new in 2013, In mid 2014 with about 30000 miles on it, We had purchased a fifth wheel camper. @ 10000 lbs the truck pulled fine on flat and down hill roads on a slight incline it would drop to 45mph,and the cars would pile up behind us, Until they could pass us waving that one friendly finger.
after taking it to Dave Sinclair ST.Louis mo. 3 times and repeatly told nothing was wrong with the transmission, and some BS about resetting a sensor. At 41000 was the last time I took it to them, as we went camping very few times after because of its poor performance and came to accept the fact ,Ford is just to weak of a truck to handle my camper. Fast forward a 4 years were at 90000 miles old, tranny got old and died.
Mind you i gave 54000 THOUSAND for this Beast with balls and it turns out it was a joke, only 90000 miles
So I'm back at "Dave SINCLAIR" their motto "if it aint right we will make it right" well that was before the one with brains passed away (rip).
You know the ol story when the kids take over customer service goes to sh*t.
well now they seem to find out whats wrong the transmission has metal in it wonder why ,maybe because the cooling pump when out overheating the fluid and metal parts fail and the mental breakdown begins, and so does my bank account
Oh your transmission warranty was up at 60000,We need 7000 the first day to fix your truck and the next day they want nine thousand go figure that one out. They say Ford gave the wrong quote...hmmm. Ford can't seem to get anything right.
oh it needs the tranny cooling system replaced too.
Anyone else have trans problems ?
