My 2013 Ford F250 Superduty has the "DEATH WOBBLE" problems with the front steering/suspension. This problem should be fixed before it gets someone killed. My first occurrence happened while I was on US-64 West bound near Raleigh, NC while traveling at ~70mph (the posted speed limit). Narrowly avoid other vehicles while trying to maintain control and get stopped.

While driving down I-75 I noticed my husbands front tires wobbling and shaking uncontrollably on 3 different occasions in less than 30 miles. This is not the first time this has happened. We have had the truck serviced many times trying to fix the issue but it still persists. This is something Ford should be held responsible for. It is putting our lives and others in danger.

Starts wobbling (shaking) uncontrollably sideways & up and down when I am driving above 65 miles an hours over uneven roads and I hit a mild bump in the road. Only stops wobbling when I am able to get the truck to slow down below 60 miles a hour. Started happening 3 months ago. Has been happening much more frequently recently.

Truck will start to violently shake while on interstate after going over ruff road or bridge joint. It seems like the wheels are going to break off. This happened to me numerous times. First time I got new tires and alignment. The last time this occurred was on the way home from school and we passed over a bridge joint. The truck started to shake so much the kids started to scream "daddy daddy!!" I applied the breaks as calmly as I could but I had 18 wheeler on both sides and just had to keep applying breaks until I got the vehicle down to approximately 35 mph when the shaking subsided. With both my girls in their car seats and both weeping, asking if we were going to die and that this truck is scary. I was scared to drive home the rest of the 15 minute drive. Both kids (4 and 9) are now scared to ride in my truck and want me to sell it. This seems to be a known issue called "death wobble" with Ford superdutys. Ford seems to have a recall for 2017 and newer but this does nothing for my 2013. This is a real problem and it is not due to lack of maintenance or caused by the customer, it is a design flaw. I can show you a part of road where this will occur at a high frequency if you want to get your own superduty and come test it. Please do something to force Ford to address this issue, even if its a parts list to buy to get it fixed on your own. I can't seem to find a real answer as to why this happens.

The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-250. While driving above 40 mph over a bump in the road, the vehicle shook and the front of the vehicle became difficult to control. There were no warning indicators illuminated before or after the failure. The vehicle was taken to landmark Ford (2401 prairie crossing dr., springfield, il 62711) for diagnostic testing and repairs. The contact was unable to recall what was diagnosed and repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

I purchase a vehicle which I knew there was an issue I thought was the suspension. I asked woodbridge motors in wpb fl to repair before the closing date. The day we come to pick it up, they assure me that the problem was taking care of, and they asked me to sign off the paper saying that there was nothing wrong with the car, which I trusted them and I did. Right after I drove the car of the lot I notice it was nothing done, so I brought car back to them, they told me the car was fixed at tire kingdom in lake worth to bring the car back to tire kingdom which I did. Tire kingdom keep the car for half of the day and also told me that the car was fixed. When I drove the car back, the car was doing the same thing again, the steering need an alignment and have a horrible vibration in the back. I drove the car back to tire kingdom and the response was: We just don't know how to fixed it, at that moment I brought it to my own mechanics and turns out it has a bend rim and a bad tire, and also need it alignment it was never done.I asked the dealer to pay me a percentage of the cost so I can get it done right away. At this moment we were negotiating another vehicle so they said: Sure let me talk to my manager, he is not here and I got the same response until we finalize the paper work in the other vehicle. Days later they said if I would purchase another vehicle or bring a new customer they would help me with my problem other than that they are not doing absolutely nothing.

Highway driving felt a vibration. Pulled over, found bulge in tread of stock Ford Michelin LT275/65 R20 on the right rear. Mileage 24,091. Replaced with same tire. Now, pulling toyhauler, felt same vibration again. Pulled over, left rear has a bulge. Mileage, 24,494. 403 miles later. Reluctantly replaced with same tire. Now, driving down the highway, felt the vibration again. Just as I got in the right lane, front passenger side tire blows. Mileage, 26,210. 1716 miles later. Seriously having doubts about these Michelin tires Ford uses on their Super Duty trucks. Extremely reluctant to replace with michelins again but now I have no choice except spend big bucks for a complete new set of tires. So this time I replace both front tires at the same time. Why there is no action on these tires is beyond me. Michelin ltx275/65 R20 tires need to be recalled now.
