Part Failure Motorcraft FD4615 (secondary filter on top of the engine) It is available for inspection. This occurred approximately 200 miles after installation. Failure resulted in diesel fuel saturating the entire engine compartment, firewall, and underside of the truck. Extreme fire hazard. Failure should be confirmed by mechanic today (it's pretty obvious). No other inspection performed as of yet. No warning lamps/messages/symptoms. Only sign was extreme smell of diesel in the cab. When vehicle stopped, and was inspected, there was diesel dripping from the engine compartment and underside of truck past the transmission. Was driving truck down the road when I turned off on a side road. When I did, there was an extreme smell of diesel. I stopped, and got out of the truck. There was smoke coming from under the hood, and a very substantial amount of diesel running out of the engine bay down towards the transmission. After allowing the vehicle to cool, I popped the hood. The entire engine bay was saturated. Diesel was pooled on top of the intake, as well as running down the side of the engine and firewall. Some smoke was still present. A person who stopped momentarily turned the ignition to the "on" position to see if there was an obvious leak. The center of the top of the fuel filter was spraying fuel out like a geyser, hitting the underside of the hood, and blanketing the engine.

On August 21,2021 we were about 2 hrs from home meeting some family to visit for awhile my husbandand I are both in our 60's. Just as we were entering Lufin Tx our truck dropped from 60 mph to 30 with no warning. I pulled to shoulder of the road and truck completely died. If we had been on an interstate there's a possibility the truck would have died in the middle of the interstate hwy with no way of getting out of traffic. Our truck was towed to Lufkin Ford since we couldn't afford the $ $394 to have it towed closer to our home. We were told by Lufkin Ford our P4 high pressure pump had went out, sending metal shards through our motor a $9400 repair. To this date our truck has not been repaired because there's a problem getting the pump. It seems this is a problem with the high pressure fuel pump in these diesel trucks, cause I was informed there are 6 trucks at this repair shop waiting on the same part so I'm sure this has been an on going problem.

Def Heater went out. There is a CSB 18M01 but does not cover all years of this vehicle. No reason why this should not cover all SuperDuty models from 2011-2015 F250-F550.

Reductant (diesel exhaust fluid) heater has failed on my 2014 F-250 with a 6.7L diesel. Diagnostic code P20ba. Ford fsa 18M01 covers this failure on 2011-2012 F-250/350 and 2011-2015 F-450/550. From parts.Ford.com " part # 5J225 (reductant heater and sender assembly),usages: 10/04/2011 - 07/05/2016, F250/350/450/550 Super Duty, 6.7L 4V V8 T/C diesel, wide frame (pickup), with low sulfur diesel fuel content" stating that the same "reductant heater and sender" was used from 2011-2016. However the fsa does not include 2013-2015 F-250/350 models. I believe this is due to the large numbers of these specific models on the road and the fact that Ford does not want to be responsible for this emissions equipment related failures. This failure will keep my vehicle from passing inspection. My vehicle, which I am the original owner, has less than 65,000 miles as of 10/22/2020.

2014 Ford F250 high pressure fuel pump exploded and sent metal throughout my field system. Was driving to houston going 80 mph on ih 10 and my truck came to a stop and power steering turned off so I could barely get it off the highway. 18 wheelers were going by me going over 80 mph. We were almost killed. Was left in 106 degree heat for over 2 hrs waiting for a tow truck. Ford dealer in houston where it was towed (100 miles) wants $14,000 to fix the truck.

The BCM module on 2014 F-250 superduty is attached to the parking brake release plate under the driver's side dashboard. Normal use of the parking brake release causes the BCM connector to become loose. After multiple normal uses the BCM connector faults and shuts down the ability to start the vehicle. My issue occurred while driving and I lost ability to monitor speed, RPM, fuel, temp, and other functions. I stopped on the side of the road and turned off my vehicle. It would no longer start. I searched for this problem and found out it was a common problem and 'roadside' steps to fix it (shaking the BCM connector). Doing this temporarily fixed the problem. Ford stated there is no recall on the issue and would not fix it free of charge. There are multiple videos on youtube for 2013, 2014, 2015 year vehicles with the same problem. Even after contacting Ford corporate with videos and forum threads they deny an issue exists. The local dealership wanted about $3,500 to 'explore and diagnose the problem'. my issue started when the air bag light flashed when I disengaged the parking brake: Https://youtu.be/9svuca9giku then the entire BCM connector failed: Https://youtu.be/8I9V6xymxwm
