The truck is scheduled to go in to a Ford Dealer Sept 27, 2022. The steering became unmanageable changing lanes at 50 miles an hour. I was almost impossible to controll the truck due to uncontollable shaking. If someone had been beside us we would have crashed. I am afraid to ride in the truck because there isn't any warning this is going to happen. I was literally scared to death. From my research it is called the death wobble. Consumers should not be responsible for paying for repairs for defective equipment they didn-??t cause. And, most importantly, truck owners should not have to worry about potentially being injured or killed in an accident or harming someone else. this has happened several times with my husband when I wasn't in the truck and I had no idea how serious it is.

I we were on the highway going 65 mph truck started violently shaking this is not the first time this has happened to us while driving this truck. It has also happened while going 30mph. It is very scary and feels like the truck is going to fall apart. We just bought this truck less that 60 days ago and this has happened 5-10 times. We have also made a complaint through Ford motor as to what will be done with this issue. We had our little girl in the truck and she became very afraid of driving in the truck.

Truck violently starts shaking uncontrollably on highway at high speeds. This occurs if hit a bump in the road, pavement/groove changes, accelerating up to highway speeds to merge or getting on the brake at high speed on the highway. The "death wobble" is the experience I have been having and is now becoming way to common for the daily commute. This is happening on daily travel and when pulling a trailer loaded with horses. Purchased in 2016 with extremely low miles and the issue began showing in early 2017 and has since become more and more frequent and the safety of the vehicle is now uncertain every time I get in the vehicle.

My 2014 F250 has since around 80K miles had an uncontrollable wobble when at low highway speeds hitting even the smallest bump in the road. After multiple alignments and tire changes my dealer admitted that its known as "death wobble" and I need to do thousands of dollars in repairs that are very common. I am at 140K now and they finally admited that its a systemic problem

Several times now, when driving at speeds above 55, when I hit a very small bump in the road the truck starts shaking violently. It is to the point that, you can not control it until you stop. The problem does not happen every time driven, but it does occasionally. It feels completely unsafe to drive on the highway.

Driving at highway speed 65-70 mph on ca-99 on 11-30-2019 between bakersfield and fresno I experienced several "death wobbles." This vehicle was repaired for this problem at future Ford in sacramento, ca. On 03oct19 by replacing steering damper and track bar. Also an alignment was done. Evidently the problem still persists on certain occasions.

Three times within a week my truck has experienced a sudden, violent shaking at highway speeds. There were no bumps in the road or any kind of sudden maneuver that started the shaking. All three times it happened while I was accelerating to highway speed. I have found that this is called "death wobble" and that it happens frequently to Ford trucks as well as other vehicles. I am extremely concerned that this is a potential tragedy that appears to be deliberately overlooked. I hope to see a recall in the very near future.

Was traveling on the freeway at 65mph and hit a bump, truck started shaking violently and almost lost control. Had to slowly apply brakes and pull to side of road to regain control. It was like a death shake. The truck is a 2014 F250 with all of it maintenance up to date.

When the truck hits a bridge expansion joint or a pot hole it's shakes violently losing control and pulls the steering wheel out of your hands. The dealership claims there is no problem and has never heard of such a thing.

The drivers door latch froze this evening. I need to slam the door 20-25 times before the latch would latch and stay closed. This is after Ford repaired the same door last year for the same problem.
