From the first day of purchase new, the brakes at all 4 end have a real bad dust problem. You can wash the truck and drive 10 miles and the dust is back. My son was having the same issue with his Mitzi Evo and we replaced the pads with (believe it or not) Autozone Duralast Max pads and he has very little to no dust. They make the pads for this year and model, however with only 4000 mi I elect to keep cleaning for now. At 80.00 per axle it might not be a bad idea for someone that drives everyday. Mine sits in the garage most days and I drive an old Cherokee .

Excessive brake dust (Red Brake Dust) makes vehicle look old & dirty. Looks like when you change your brake shoes on a vehicle that has worn the brake shoes out and you put on a very cheap set of brake shoes they cause considerable dust. This happened right away with my new truck within 500 miles I noticed it. Clean the truck then you have to get down on your knees and hand clean rims to get dust off not an easy job. 500 mile there dirty again. I have 2015 3/4 ton GMC with 80,000 miles on it no brake dust!!! Ford says this is normal, My last Ford 2010 1 ton had 140,000 miles on it when I sold it no brake dust brakes where still in good condition. Showing I don't drive in a way that wears the brakes down. $60,000 Truck looks like sh*t (sorry about language true though) $40.00 better brake pad they would have this problem.
