I have pretty much had it with ford my truck cuts out during regen like most almost causing a crash every time to which the dealership has no solution !now my check engine light is on I have had my truck serviced by certified mechanics every 3000 miles I popped the hood to check everything and it looks good ! I took my oil fill cap off with the engine running guess what blow by blue smoke I'm sure the problems with regen have nothing to do with that bull crap I have never owned a new truck and now I'm a loyal ford owner because after the 6.0 2004 I owned almost caused me to burn it to the ground after I spent thousands of dollars trying to just keep it running until it was paid off I swore I would never own another !!!!!!!! I'm looking for a reason not to be pissed but I can't find one this truck has had issues for its entire life what the hell am I supposed to do?

This is the second problem on this vehicle. First problem the power module went out and the head lights stop working. The power module finally got replaced and the truck quit at the gas station. the computer had to be reprogramed to get it started.

F-250 XLT 6.7L

  • Automatic transmission

Check engine light on, dealer said first no big deal, then said Ford said replace engine. Took it in, said replaced a pump and fuel leak all good, then light comes on again. This time dealer says they will send in a sample of def to Ford and see if contaminated, if so I'll be on the hook for any repairs, WTF. Now has 9100 miles, I'm sure not going to buy another Ford ever if this is the way I'm going to be treated on Ford's problems.

I had a 2013 6.7, no problems. I buy a new Ford every year but now I'm going to buy Chevy or Dodge and the dealer showed me Fords paper work to their dealers stating not to fix the pinging unless it's severe, so they know it's an issue but don't care. I'll buy a Chevy, at least they recall and fix their mistakes.
