We just purchased this vehicle model for my 16 year old son. I had no idea of a "Death Wobble" - WOW! His truck is currently at the Dealership getting looked at and I am waiting for an estimate to get it fixed. I have a hard time grasping that this is a "Known Problem"... Another WOW!! How is this so freely known and accepted yet so absolutely dangerous. Praying this gets fixed for a reasonable rate. Ford should really fix this problem or offer financial help for the solution. Safe driving to everyone!

I had it fixed in 2017, and now the problem is back four years later either the parts weren't very good or they didn't fix the problem. The death wobble has been going on for a month now and my dealership doesn't want to fix it.

Replaced Shocks and Steering Stabilizer. Did not fix the "death wobble".
Update from Jan 21, 2020: On 10/4/19, I had a balance and rotation at the recommendation of a mechanic. Did not fix
On 10/5/19 I had the track bar and ball joint replaced. Temporarily fixed.
On 12/7/19 I replaced tie rod ends/draglink, had BD Diesel caster kit installed. Alignment done 6.5 degrees of caster. Improved but did not fix.
On 1/4/20 Replaced new single steering stabilizer with dual stabilizer kit. Required 2" lift in Front, which requires adjustable track bar.
On 1/17/20 Replaced new track bar with BD Diesel adjustable trackbar to move axle back into position.
