Experiencing violent shaking in steering when at speed, seems to be at 55mph and higher, that could cause loss of control of vehicle. Seems to be brought about from hitting bumps in road which activates violent shaking. Only remedy is to slow down immediately which could be impossible in some traffic situations. After research, found out this is a known problem in my year of truck, 2017 F250 Super Duty. There are no lamps or otherwise warnings that the problem is about to occur. I have not brought the vehicle in to be fixed at this time but plan on doing so shortly. This is my only vehicle and the problem seems to be getting worse since first experience.

Right after we bought the truck after 35000 miles in 2017 it started to have the *death wobble*. After bringing it to the shop several times, they finally replaced during extended warranty at ~72000 miles steering damper, ball joints and some parts. This prevented the death wobble for about 30000 miles...and then after that it progressively worsens now. After contacting the dealership who did the replacements...we were told that the warranty on it expired.. This should be a recall from Ford
