Front end wobbled violently after driving over a series of small bump in the road, wobble didn't not subside until vehicle slowed to an almost complete stop.incident happened on rt 452 in chichester pa.upon doing research on this problem it is apparently a common issue with this vehicle. Has specifically to do with the alignment and steering mechanism and stabilizers.

While driving on the freeway at between 65 - 75 mph, my Ford F-250 truck begins to shake vigorously when there is a small crack or bump in the road. I loose control and have to slow down at a very slow speed on a freeway. I and other people on the road are being put at risk of me loosing control of the vehicle along with my family.

2019 Ford F250 Super Duty developed the "death wobble" when driving over a bridge approach which caused the truck to shake to the point that I had to slow down to 25 mph and pull over to the shoulder of the road. Felt like the tire was falling off, but after inspecting the tires there wasn't any issue. I then proceeded to inspect the front steering components for damage and found nothing. Began driving again and all was fine for approximately 20 miles and it happened again. Ford dealership was called and service mgr told me it was a normal for the F250 to act this way. The truck will not be driven again until this is fixed.

My truck has the death wobble. I was diving 70 mile per hour when I hit a bump and the truck started shaking uncontrollably. I almost lost control of my truck I had to make a complete stop on a 75 mph highway. My whole family was in the truck when that happened. This problem needs to be corrected I took my truck to the dealer and they said they'll fix the steering linkage damper. But the tires need to be aligned and the shims need to repaired also. And they want to charge me $450. This needs to be done for free there is no reason a brand new truck should have this problem. This is a safety issue and it all should be covered under a safety recall.

I have experienced the death rattle/wobble with this vehicle which I bought brand new in November 2019. The steering wheel shakes uncontrollably and so does the undercarriage. I am not a mechanic so I don't know if it's the suspension, steering wheel or the wheels themselves. When I go over 25 miles an hour after hitting a bump on the road I experience this rattling. Also I hear the rattling below the engine like a loose muffler when I go over this speed.

While on a highway on a long turn, a damage section of the road was approached. When the vehicle drove over the bump, the entire steering wheel became loose and loss tension, the vehicle discontinued turning for a moment then regain steering a second later. While turning, during the moment of loss steering, the vehicle swerved to the opposite direction of where the vehicles steering was positioned, then skidding the occurred and steering was regained. Speed was approximately 55mph

I believe I have experienced the known 'death wobble'. when going 65 mph or more and hit a bump with a turn I'd lose control and my truck would feel like my front tires had blown or shocks had failed. I'd slow down and pull over and the truck looked fine. At lower speeds it does not seem to happen. I've experienced it twice now. All Ford has said is I need a new steering stabilizer, that is on back order. They claim that will ' fix ' the problem.

Local highway driving the truck shake uncontrollably for about 5-10 minutes or until the truck slows to a near stop. The shake will also occur when hitting a pot hole, going over railroad tracks or braking. The first experience occurred at 17,000 miles and has since continued to a current 26,000 miles. After taking to Ford dealership service they have indicated that several trucks were experiencing the same and the part(s) were on back order. After approx. 30 days, the dampner came in, however, the defect has occurred several times since. Returned to Ford service and had a tire alignment done. To no avail, the same issue has occurred again. I have researched this defect and found the Ford community is calling this occurrence as the "death wobble".

On three occasion now while driving on the highway at a high rate of speed around 75-80 mph the vehicle started shaking and I couldn't control the steering. Felt like I was loosing control of the vehicle and was thankful there was no other vehicle next to me because I would have surely been in an accident because of the violent vibration and loss of control of the steering and the drifting of the vehicle into other lanes due to the lack of steering control. I had to slowly lower my speed. As a result, I am afraid to drive my vehicle. I took it to the dealership and they said there is nothing wrong with it. As of today the vehicle is at the dealership because of it happening again and hopefully they find and fix the problem.

Vehicle begins to shake violently when at interstate speeds(70+mph) when hitting rough areas or entering bridges. Today we almost hit a bridge when it happened. It has happened 4 or 5 times in the month. The only way to stop it is to quickly reduce speed and fight steering wheel with both hands. Very difficult to do this on the interstate with other traffic. It began doing this 6 weeks ago at near 8,000 total miles. Vehicle has been in shop twice for this in 3 weeks and is scheduled to go back Monday. They replaced steering stabilizer the first time, alignment the second time, is supposed to have front end lifted Monday. Vehicle is 100% stock. Returned vehicle to dealership today and told them they could keep it. If they don't make it possible to for us to trade it we plan on getting a lawsuit started against them. The dealership seems to know what needs to be done but are limited by Ford on what they can do, depending on how many times it is brought in to be fixed. They said they can replace all the parts at once to fix it but are not allowed to by Ford and are forced to do it in steps. This situation is very dangerous to the occupants and all other people in the vicinity of the vehicle when it happens. All of the problems have occurred between 7500 and 9300 miles.

A few times now my F250 has gone into a death wobble while traveling approximately 70 mph on the highway. It takes all my strength to keep the truck in control and come to almost a complete stop, for the shaking to cease. Dampener was replaced once, and the same problem occurs. It is in the shop again and now waiting a week with no answer. I will not put my family in this truck as it is too unsafe and unpredictable. We all need Ford to fix the problem.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. While driving approximately 60 mph over a small uneven portion of road, the front end of the vehicle shook violently. The steering wheel also shook violently and was difficult to maneuver. The contact had to slowly apply the brakes and decelerate to 35 mph for the shaking to stop. The contact called brighton Ford (190 w bromley ln, brighton, co 80601, 303-800-3235) for an appointment; however, the vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 5,800.
