I was driving 60 miles an hour and I hit a pot hole and the truck went into a -??death wobble-??. It started to shake extremely violently that I thought I was going to crash and die. My arms hurt so bad from trying to hold on to the steering wheel for dear life. I managed to come to a complete stop but not before I almost [XXX] my pants from fear. Third incident of violent shaking of steering wheel and entire truck while driving approximately 60-70 mph. All three occurrences happened on the highway after going over relatively small bumps in the road, perhaps 2-3 bumps, one right after the other. I was driving the vehicle during 2 of those incidences. My wife was driving during the most recent one yesterday (3/11/2021) while I was in the passenger seat. She no longer wants to drive the truck and does not want me driving it either. I have also had a handful of situations where it will begin just slightly and I was able to immediately slow down and it would go away. However, if there are multiple bumps it seems to happen with almost 100% predictability. I am a prior federal agent and have been trained for tactical driving at various speeds. With that said, the shaking and loss of control experienced on a roughly $75K vehicle that is around a year old is not only ridiculous from a product stand point, but also, and more importantly, in terms of passenger safety. Our children were with us on 2 of these occasions. This is not a simple rattling, or shaking. I have never experienced this in any other vehicle I have driven and it is a violent wobbling of the entire truck, not just the steering wheel. This is not an exaggeration and is a significant problem and also a safety issue for other vehicles nearby. In one incident the driver of another vehicle to my left was glancing over at me as I slowed down during the violent shaking back and forth. The driver also had a very concerned look and expression of panic, undoubtedly wondering why a new truck would be wobbling uncontrollably at high speed down a freeway. Trucks in particular should be able to handle bumps in the road and are generally considered to be more rugged than other vehicles. The fact that the problem seizes after stopping the vehicle is also puzzling.

Truck seems to have a death wobbke at about 70 miles an hour when I hit a over pass joint in the road or any slight bump while driving Ford has replace the dampner 4 times now but the problem keeps coming back and now it can be felt in the breaking of the truck when stopping to abruptly!

I was traveling straight at 70 mph on the highway. The uneven road surface caused the truck to begin to rapidly and harshly shake uncontrollably. I had to slow almost to a stop to allow the truck to stop shaking. I slowed down and switched lanes. A few miles ahead at 60 mph the same problem occurred. This is not safe at all.

Over that past few weeks I've been experiencing intermitent shaking caused by bumps in the road. It happens above 50mph when hitting inconsistencies in the road. I did some research and it seems this is a known issue refered to as the "death wobble". I havent experience full loss of control but I want this addressed asap. This vehicle is not safe to operate with this issue. Ford needs to fix this before people get killed.

Starting at 15,500 my truck started the so called "death wobble" Ford has been having trouble with. This is my second new truck in 2 years with it and the problem doesn't get fixed. When hitting the slightest bump my truck becomes unstearable due to violent shaking. Ford of uniontown has seen the video of my truck doing it, their service technicians have also experienced it and the only answer I get is " be careful" and one service tech said when he drove it he was afraid for the people next to him. I need a truck, I have a business, I need this resolved and not at my cost again. Nor the lives of my family or someone else. I have video if I can upload it somewhere to show you.. please help

Upon reaching highway speeds(approximately 55-75mph) the front end began to violently shake. This issue started as mere off tracking of the front end, the truck would steer itself. This ended up progressing into such a violent shake that it drove itself off the road. I had no control over the vehicle, and steering control is gone. I wound up in a ditch on my fourth experience with this violent shake.

Have noticed my truck has been driving different, the steering has been feeling off. Well today I was going down interstate I-4 and went over a bump and my truck started shaking so violently that I thought I was going to crash into a wall. It did not do it once it did it 3 times. I could not control the truck. It was the scariest thing. So unsafe
