The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. The contact stated that upon inspection it was discovered that water was present inside the rear high mount stop light assembly. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was concerned that the water intrusion might cause internal corrosion to some electrical components. The failure mileage was 22,250.
