When the tuck hit an average bump at highway speeds it goes into an uncontrollable shake for at least 30 second before recovering. This is very severe and happens routinely. My truck is currently at 4000 miles and this has happened 3 times.

While driving at or above 60 mph any bump or deflection in the road can and will cause my vehicle to start shaking and walking side to side down the road until I can slow down to a near stopped speed. First time the vehicle had less than 26000 miles. The Ford dealership replaced my drag link, then at 36000 miles it started doing it again. I have now spent the last 5 months dealing with this problem as Ford insists they cant get me parts to fix my truck. I have now moved past Ford and I am repairing the problem on my own. As for paperwork all I have is an email from Ford customer care with a complaint number and all contact was by phone. Dealership has all the paperwork and not willing to release it to me at this time.

We purchased our 2019 F250 Super Duty from bill luke santan, (not our home town), on 12/27/2019. It came with a 120 mile return policy. When more than 3/4 of the way home it began a horrible vibration in the front end, this happened twice. Each time at about 75 mph on the freeway hitting bumps in the road. The next day it happened again on the freeway in town at about 55 and not as severe. I started making phone calls and doing research. Apparently the Ford death wobble is quite well known. Wife drove it to mesa for a dr appointment on the 7th of January. She hit a bridge bump and vibrated very violently for about a half of mile, trying slowing to get it to stop. It would not stop until she did. That was at about 75 mph. She felt a few more minor ones on the trip as well. The next day during a trip somewhat into town it happened several more times, bumps, curves, even at take off. This vehicle feels extremely unsafe and we have put it out of service until it can be resolved. Now after a lot of research and spending $47000 we are quite afraid for our safety even if a repair is done and fearing we have just wasted a lot of money. Now everyone I talk to knows about the death wobble. If I had I would not have purchased the truck. From what I am reading there is no real fix in place nor a recall from Ford. I understand there have been wrecks and injuries and there is a class action law suite taking place regarding the matter. I have started a paper trail of actions, phone calls, emails, and copies of research.

Death wobble!! was going home from work, and there are some bumps in the road and my truck steering wheel started to shake very badly. Had a hard time keeping my truck in control. Had to pull onto the shoulder of the road and come to almost a complete stop before it stopped. It happened a few times before where the steering wheel would shake some, then stop on its own, but not that time. If a death wobble causes a accident or worse yet, someone gets killed, Ford will have a law suit on their hands. 😨 this happened on a highway (hwy 59 in fort bend county in Texas. On a straight way going about 60 - 65 mph.

2019 F250 experiencing 'death wobble' with 32,000 miles. Dealer suggested after market parts! this appears to be a known issue with no resolution. The vehicle violently shakes if the truck drive over any small defect in the road and shakes violently until the vehicle gets below 5 mph.

At highway speeds, came over a rough patch, and the front end began to shake violently as though I had a flat tire. Steering locked up, and I pulled over to see what the issue was. Found nothing wrong. This was the second time this has occurred, the previous instance, the shaking stopped once I reduced speed, this time it continued until I came to a stop.

Vehicle had approximately 20K miles when the "death wobble" issue started. Driving down the interstate at 75 mph, hit bumps or bridge expansions renders the truck uncontrollable with the only remedy to slow below 40 mph to cease. Worst scenario almost sent my uncontrollable truck off the highway. Very frightening and extremely dangerous. Suppose it will take multiple fatalities and lawsuits before Ford takes the issue seriously. Getting nowhere with Ford warranty service. About to trade this junk off for a Dodge.

When driving at 50-55 mph, vehicle has went into extremely violent, uncontrollable shaking multiple times after driving over small bumps in road (it happens intermittently, and with bumps you normally would not notice or adjust speed for in a small car). The vehicle cannot be steered or controlled when this occurs other than applying the brakes. Tthe brakes do not work or stop you as fast as they should when this happens (I am assuming due to all the shaking). Last time this occurred it caused me to veer into oncoming traffic lane and I narrowly avoided a head on collision. If the oncoming vehicle had not reacted to my truck moving in to their lane we would have collided. This vehicle is very unsafe to drive until this problem is fixed. Their has been no recall but Ford has issued a tech bulletin about the issue. This problem is very dangerous and will result in lives lost (if it hasnt already). I am currently waiting for parts to fix this (ive already been waiting 10 days and Ford has no clue when they will be in. I was told it might be as long as 60 days before parts come in (unless I use lemon laws to remedy it). How many 2019 F250S have been in head on collisions this year" is there a statistical difference? how many times does this have to happen before something is done" I was told by the dealer that there are 2-3 other trucks ahead of mine waiting on the same part. The truck has been driven 7 months and only has 13,000 miles on it,

While driving North on Illinois rt 29 near peoria, il, I traveled over an old set of railroad tracks that have been paved over. They stick up just enough to feel them when you pass over. After traveling over these at 60 mph, the front of my truck went into an instability involving extreme tire hop and shaking. The steering wheel oscillated rapidly and steering felt completely of control for about 4 seconds. Luckily this was on a straight away that required little course correction. I have owned this truck for 3 days and traveled about 300 miles at various speeds, and this is the first occurrence. It is related to a resonance condition as it takes the right speed and loads into the suspension to create this dangerous condition. It is very scary. You need to investigate this in detail.

I own a 2019 F-250 and was driving at approximately 65 miles per hour and a car cut in front of me and I had to brake hard and the front end of my truck started shaking violently to the point where I though I would lose control. I had to brake even harder to regain control of the truck. I called my dealer/service and the tech told me "Ford knows about the problem and he would order the parts!" Ford: If you know of the problem then why not do a mass recall to save lives?

The truck just turned 15,000 miles and has experienced severe death wobble and the dealership has no parts to fix my truck to make it safe to drive. It has happened at least 5 times with my wife and 3 kids in the vehicle. The truck becomes almost uncontrollable and you can barely brake or steer when the situation happens you have to try to get off the road asap and hopefully not cause an accident because the truck needs to slow down to almost a complete stop the get the uncontrollable shaking to stop.. from what I read on the internet, there is no fix and this truck is going to get me in to an accident. I have come close to hitting a center divide. This is my daily driver and the condition is getting worse. I fear that a wreck is eminent. Hopefully it doesn't happen with my family in the vehicle. A fix is needed asap or Ford needs to buyback these faulty vehicles.

We were driving down the interstate at 70 miles per hour and hit a bump in the road and the steering wheel began excessively shaking. We lost complete control of the vehicle and had to carefully slow down and come to a stop on the side of the highway. This has happened multiple times now. We took the car into Ford for service. They are aware of the issue, called "death wobbles" and says the part needed to fix is on a national backorder with no eta.

This truck has the "death wobble". we do not feel safe driving this vehicle. We have dealt with three dealerships and Ford's customer service department, to no avail. We are told the part to fix this is on back log with no expected date given. In researching this issue it is obviously a very dangerous issue that is being blamed on a steering stabilizer, but also the front axels.

When driveing down the highway at highway speeds my 2019 F250 goes into a violent shaking. Steering wheel shakes uncontrollably it hard to keep control over the truck and not wreck. I have had it in to get fixed 3 times Ford turned me down by saying they did not have parts to fix it. Finally after months of setting I got it in and fixed. 2000 miles later it started the death wobble again at highway speeds. Ford told me there is nothing they can do.

2019 F250 - 28,000 miles while drive approx. 70 mph down the freeway I hit an expansion joint in the road, at which point my truck went into what is known by most Ford owners as the "death wobble", I had to slow to 45 mph to get my truck back under control, this happened 3 more times during my trip until I could get it to a Ford dealership. Ford replaced the "steering dampner" and claimed that it is fixed, fast fwd two months, it happened again today to my wife while driving down the freeway, again at approx. 65-70 mph the truck will be going back to the dealership tomorrow for further investigation. This is a know problem with Ford, there needs to be a factory recall on all Super Duty trucks so that Ford can get this under control.

On three occasion now while driving on the highway at a high rate of speed around 75-80 mph the vehicle started shaking and I couldn't control the steering. Felt like I was loosing control of the vehicle and was thankful there was no other vehicle next to me because I would have surely been in an accident because of the violent vibration and loss of control of the steering and the drifting of the vehicle into other lanes due to the lack of steering control. I had to slowly lower my speed. As a result, I am afraid to drive my vehicle. I took it to the dealership and they said there is nothing wrong with it. As of today the vehicle is at the dealership because of it happening again and hopefully they find and fix the problem.

Driving at 79 mph on interstate I-10 near casa grande Arizona on 12/29/2019 went over a bridge expansion joint, on newer pavement since the expressway was redone this year, the truck experienced the "death wobble". severe wheel bouncing and steering wheel vibrations. Had to rapidly reduce speed to under 60 mph to regain control of the truck. This the second such occurance on different roads since I bought the truck. Mileage now is 16998.
