Component: Battery Junction box then affecting other parts. water intrusion into battery junction box affecting and shorting out other components. Items shorted out due to water in battery junction box include: Battery Junction Box itself, Left rear Blind Spot Monitor, Left rear Brake Light, Drivers seat control (shorted all seat heated components, All lumbar and massaging components fully inflated and would not deflate), Windshield wiper motor shorted and stopped working, Rain sensor stopped working. Both Tow Mirrors would Randomly deploy to the furthest out position. Main Safety Concerns were Windshield Wiper Motor Stopped Working and Seat Randomly adjusting, Inflating, Deflating. Vehicle is currently at for dealership ( Sam Packs 5 star Ford Lewisville TX) who has diagnosed the issues. The only warning lamp was for the Driver Side BLIS when the incident would occur.

I want to file a formal complaint against Sunland Ford in Victorville California about not remedying this safety recall for my vehicle in a timely manner. A letter was sent out to me on May of 2022 regarding this recall and I have contacted Sunland Ford several times to get this recall resolved and here we are almost a year later and it still hasn't been fixed. I was in snowy conditions in Montana in March and I just about wrecked because of the became inoperable for a short period of time so I need someone to please get Sunland Ford to hurry up and get this fixed asap.

Mine and my families saftey was at risk when the A/C failed to run during a trip home. It was a damp rainy day and the windshield completely fogged over on the inside. Running heat and opening windows would not clear the visibly issue. There was 0% visibility. I had to drive with my head out the window to slow to a stop and wait hours before the A/C resumed working. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The problem has been reproduced every time I drive the truck and has been verified and attempted service by two separate Ford Dealers. The truck was with the first Dealer for 1.5 months. I am in communication with the second Dealer now. This was a Ford buy-back vehicle. The claim was that the vehicle was overheating and that a fan shroud was replaced to fix the issue. I am skeptical that there wasn't more to the issue that wasn't resolved. No warning prior to failure. July 2022 is when the problem caused me issue. I do believe the issue was there since I purchased the vehicle used in August 2021, but the vehicle was not driven much so it never affected me.

On 4/24/2022, during a snow storm the passenger side wiper failed to work and came disconnected from the vehicle. The drivers side wiper stopped working and would not return to the downward (parked) position. Both wiper arms are stripped and non-functional. I was forced to wait for two days for weather/roads to clear before I could leave for my destination, due to the non-functioning wipers and weather. I tried to order new wiper arms from on-line dealers and third party dealers only to have all orders canceled as that there are no parts available, and that new availability was unknown. While in search of these parts, I found that there is a Ford recall on this issue, Safety notice #22S26 / NATSA #22V250. On 5/18/2022 I went to a Ford dealer for repairs and was told there are no parts, with no known time of receiving such parts. On 6/10/2022 I returned to the dealer and was told the same information, no parts. On 6/14/2022 I called Ford and was given a case number, and informed that the arrival of any new replacement parts was still unknown. The truck is obviously not safe to drive in, or when inclement weather is advised and/or happening. I have had to pull off the road and wait out rain storms and fog as well. Ford has made no offer of reimbursement due to lost use of this vehicle, or offered to sponser a loaner truck for use while waiting for the the repairs/parts to come available. At best, Ford has offered to try and escalate my request for replacement parts, which to date is still unknown, and parts are still unavailable.... Which leaves me with a, new 2020 F-250 that is, and has been, unsafe drive since April of this year (which, by the way, I pay almost $1000 per month in a loan payment on.)
