The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-250 trailered to a 2019 forest river rockwood travel trailer, equipped with lionshead tires, tire line: Castle rock, tire size: ST225/75/R15, dot: 1mt14118. The contact stated that the trailer was swaying behind the vehicle while driving at an undisclosed speed. The contact removed the tire and took it to a tire shop for inspection. The contact was informed that the tire tread belt had slipped and that the tire was out of round and needed to be replaced. The tire was not replaced. The manufacturer was not contacted or notified of the failure. The failure mileage on the travel trailer was 850.
