This problem has occurred many different times. Very disappointing. I have always been a Ford guy and own two of them. I love them but the maintenance is too expensive on them.

One out of 10 spark plugs ejected (with great force!). Now wondering when other nine will explode (have read accounts of blowing right through the hood). Read one article stating that Ford Triton engines are blowing out spark plugs like sunflower seeds!

I believe Ford should have at least made customers with Triton Series Engines aware of this problem. I was not aware this spark plug ejection defect was affecting Triton Series Engines. If this was known a owner could have been checking spark plug torque on all cylinders every six months,or more often to make sure that the spark plugs were not working loose. This could prevent much damage to Triton Series Engines.
This seems to be a engine or engine cylinder head defect, which I feel Ford Motor Company should be working on locating the cause of this problem. I also feel should work on locating a good "SOUND" fix for this problem.
